What happens when you upload a photo
When you upload a photo to the metadata viewer or remover, the file is sent to our server to be analyzed and, if you request it, to have its metadata stripped. The file is stored temporarily during that process.
Retention
Uploaded files and any cleaned copies are kept only long enough to complete your analysis/removal request and let you download the result, and are automatically deleted after a short time (currently up to one hour). We do not use uploaded photos for any purpose other than fulfilling your request.
What we don't do
We do not sell uploaded images, we do not use them for training or analytics purposes, and we do not share them with third parties. We do not claim a specific security certification for this processing pipeline.
Analytics and cookies
The site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are visited). This document will be updated if that changes materially.
